Contractor Stack is an independent buyer's index for field-service software used by trades businesses. We pull pricing directly from vendor pricing pages weekly, organize comparisons by trade and crew size, and publish a skip list of vendors we'd advise small or mid-sized trades shops against. We don't take payment from any vendor for inclusion, ranking, or recommendation.

How we work.
№ 01 — Independent
Picks come from independent evaluation, not from briefings.
No vendor pays to be listed, ranked higher, or recommended. No demos shaped this content, no embargoes apply. The skip list proves the rest.
№ 02 — Pricing verified weekly
Every price has a date next to it.
Pricing comes from the actual vendor pricing pages every week. When tiers change, you see it the next day — not six months later when someone notices.
№ 03 — Cut to your trade and stage
Solo, small crew, scaling — we cut the data three ways.
A solo plumber doesn't buy the same software as a 30-tech HVAC shop. Recommendations are stage-aware and trade-aware by design.
№ 04 — Corrections, on the page
When we're wrong, we update the page.
