What we store, and why.

The short version

We log when someone clicks an outbound vendor link, so we can tell which recommendations are landing. We don't sell your data, run advertising trackers, or build a profile of you across the web.

What we collect

• Click logs — when you click a price-check or vendor link, we record the destination URL, the page you were on, and a timestamp. We do not associate this with a name or email.
• Server logs— Vercel (our hosting provider) keeps standard web-server access logs (IP, user-agent, requested URL) for a short period for security and debugging. These are governed by Vercel's privacy policy.

What we do not collect

• No cross-site tracking pixels, no Google Analytics on the public site
• No accounts, no email collection, no newsletter signup
• No advertising cookies

Third parties

When you click through to a vendor, you're sent to their site (ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, etc.). That vendor sets its own cookies and runs its own tracking. Their privacy policies apply once you're on their pages.

Deletion / contact

Email editor@contractorstack.co if you want any logs tied to your IP address purged. We'll do it within a week.
